
Accountant
General Description
Collect, organize, and track financial information for SACS users.
- Record and maintain financial data for housing agencies on a monthly and yearly basis.
- Produce financial reports for submission to governmental agencies.
- Process authority accounting information to produce monthly reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts.
- Prepare journal vouchers.
- Prepare and maintain yearly budgets.
Skills and Qualifications
- Associates degree in accounting is preferred. Equivalent work experience accepted.
- Ability to accurately analyze and interpret financial data
- Must demonstrate effective communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Candidate must be able to work with others to achieve corporate goals.
